This electronic drum kit is great for beginners. It comes in a big bag that includes all the pieces, plus a pair of drum sticks, headphones and a stool. This might look like a keyboard, but it is in fact a midi controller. The main difference between the two is that a midi controller is just a set of keys and knobs that receive midi information when connected to a computer or another device. Hence, if you play it on its own it will make no sound. Make sure you have a computer to connect the controller to, and a software to edit the sounds you'll be making.

This is one of our favourite pedals. It allows to create multiple loops which you can recall, pause or record over. You can use it with instruments or with vocals (or with both at the same time!). Need a beat? You can record yourself beat-boxing and then rap, sing or play an instrument on it. The Boss RC-30 might seem a bit complicated at first, but you can have a lot of fun with it even if you only learn the basics. It comes with the instruction manual. To power it up you will need a 9-volt power supply or 6x AA batteries. To use it, you will need two instrument cables (and/or an XLR cable if you are using a microphone): one will connect the instrument to the loop station (input), and the other will connect the loop station (output) to the amp.

To amplify an electric guitar, a bass or a synth, you will need an instrument cable. And if you wish to use pedal effects you'll need more than one. The good news is that we have plenty, just make sure you borrow all you need. Sometimes cables break. If that happens, please let us know via email or when you return the item and we'll fix it.

Voice Mic. You will need a cable to connect it to a sound desk, an audio interface or an amp. If you are using the mic with an amp you would normally use an XLR to jack cable. If you are using the mic with a sound desk or an audio interface you'll need either an XLR to jack cable or an XLR cable, depending on the desk's inputs.
